About HiM

The reason I am pursuing a business in sound healer is to continue the work on myself and to offer support in music healing for others. I am a strong believer that music is medicine for the mind, body, and spirit. We all just need help activating and effectively utilizing music's powers. I am a retired college music professor, with over 35 years teaching experience about the culture of music. Playing the piano has been my life's ambition. Not just to be the best at it but to use it as my voice to communicate, which is probably the reason I spend most of my time composing. I still perform for special gigs locally and internationally. I have recorded and produced 5 CDs (compact discs) and written two books, Spirit, Rhythm, and Story, and Hip Hop Music. Encompassing knowledge through study, research, and experience from my travels abroad to Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and Kenya) and Japan have shown me the many wonders of the power of music on our mental, physical, and spiritual selves.
